The sadistic alter ego of a shy ventriloquist is the interrogator of last resort for nefarious employers and for die-hard black comedy.
Description
A "slice of life" short about a disturbed ventriloquist, Miles, and his alter ego, Mr. Snuggles, whose glib wit is as lethal as his attaché of carving knives. I got to play the both sides of a split personality: Miles is a demure interrogator but the yin to his yang is a sadistic torturer embodied in the doll. Think Magic meets Reservoir Dogs, with me playing a bit of Richard Burton and channeling a bit of Michael Madsen through a doll. Adult language and suggested violence.

Trivia
One of the vaudeville connections in the movie is in the melody that Mr. Snuggles sings. The song "I'm so glad we had this time together," made famous by Carol Burnett, ironically starts with these lyrics:
I'm so glad we had this time together,
Just to have a laugh, or sing a song.
Seems we just got started and before you know it
Comes the time we have to say, "So long."
