An optimistic schedule was announced for this project: rehearse in June, film in July, edit in August, and release by September 12th, in time to submit it into the 2010 Sundance Festival. Well, it was too optimistic. It wasn't until a weekend in mid-September that we completed location shots for my character. Other scenes still had to be shot (or re-shot) before the leaves started turning color. A year to the day later, I was in doing green-screen work in lieu of pickup shots. Such are the travails of self-funded indie movies.

The premiere on 31 May 2012 was a blast, with several of the actors appearing in their movie customes. My skimpy outfit had deteriorated -- thankfully! The crowd packed the 500-seat Strand Theatre in Marietta, GA. Great fun to see myself on screen for a role that seemed like it was filmed an eternity ago.
