Two Crime families are at war, but soon realize they aren't the only ones capable of murder.
While war rages between a Russian mafia and a latino cartel, a serial killer falls in love with the daughter of the mob boss, and he stops at nothing to avenge her.
Stockholm pictures is an Atlanta-based independent film production company. This is their first feature-length film, in English, Spanish, and Russian, at locations in Los Angeles and near Atlanta (Carrollton, GA).
I had a 4-day shoot for this thriller, playing muscle in the Russian mafia.
07/18/2013: All the well-known songs in the original soundtrack have been replaced with indie bands to save cost and/or time on securing licenses. The new songs fit VERY nicely.
Danny Costa has signed on for getting the film distributed. He has a tons of experience and contacts. He loved it, saying "this is how indie films should be done," and is shopping it to several companies, including Gravitas Ventures.
07/17/2013: Today is the 1-year anniversary of the web site going live. Sadly, it's offline now.
12/14/2012: Atlanta premiere at Cinevision. I have two, Two, TWO lines of Russian that made it into the final cut!
Screening in the Dominican Republic.
7/24/2012: The online trailers are temporarilly offline or password-protected while the feature is being shopped. Sorry, but it's a good thing.
7/20/2012: Screening at CAA in Beverly Hills for distribution consideration. Definite interest but need to work through song licensing on soundtrack.
7/17/2012: Web site is live: http://pulseoftheindigo.com/
1/04/2012: The IMDb listing for the movie appeared today. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2166087
11/15/2011: Sample video clip added -- alas without me in it -- but the edit looks great!
9/13/2011: "The is almost an hour long now! Brent is trying to finish the rough cut before the Sundance submission deadline (the 24th), Adric is recording and piecing together the audio for the television programs in the film and Chris is cleaning up dialogue and foley. Trying to get something presentable together for Sundance then after we will be putting in the finer things"
