OceanTroupe was a non-union membership ensemble of actors, directors, writers, singers, dancers and other performing artists and creators who presented stage productions in a variety of locations. They produced workshops, documentary and educational videos, films, and live presentations.
One of their projects was the feature-length movie adaptation of Anton Chekov's Three Sisters, in which I had a lead role (and a grueling 19 days on set). I also collaborated with the troupe on the documentary called Performer, a music video for a classical piano piece titled "Threshold". Sadly, the company went under before these projects made it out of post-production. I was also cast for a movie adaptation of MacBeth which was in pre-production when Ocean Troupe shut down.
Ocean Troupe had a diverse range of fully staged productions each season, performing sometimes in theatres, sometimes outdoors, sometimes in other types of venues. Some productions were centered in one city or state, others were presented in hub cities with different casts. They presented a mixture of Shakespeare and other classical theatre, contemporary plays, and other types of productions such as one-acts, improv shows, dance, opera and musical theatre. It was active in New York, Hollywood, Washington, and Atlanta before folding in 2010.

"Cafe Playa Moon" is a warm and wonderful comedy with a serious theme which recently concluded a successful run in New York! The play is set in a tropical oceanside cafe, complete with romantic music and an international cast of eleven fascinating characters, each of whom is in search of his or her next path in life. Love, conflict, jealousy, ambition and caring surround these characters as their lives become intertwined. You will love this play!

2009 Members
Ocean Troupe members have been seen often on television including All My Children, American Idol, Bold & the Beautiful, College Hill, Dawson's Creek, Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, Miss America Pageant, Nickelodeon, The Sopranos.....we have worked with every major film company in Hollywood, many theatres On and Off Broadway, and appeared at places like Sundance, Royal Shakespeare Company, Moscow Art Theatre and the Spoleto Festival in Italy.
