I once read of a couple who based their vacations around cities which had a Hard Rock Café restaurant. I guess they figured any place significant enough for that restaurant should be worth visiting in it's own right. Without even trying, I've eaten at that chain in some wonderful places: Sydney, Katmandu, Singapore, Paris, and Rome, not to mention numerous domestic locations. It's not a bad list.

For my travel excuse, I've hit over 200 units of the National Park Service, including half of the national parks in the U.S. plus a couple national parks in Canadian and several World Heritage Sites.
