Pulse of the Indigo - Feature
Filmed in Alanta and L.A., and directed by Brent Conley, Pulse Indigo screened this month at the Georgia Latino Film Festival
where it WON Film of the Year! The gritty crime drama bounces between English, Russian, and Spanish; in it I play mafia muscle with a couple lines in Russian. Expect it to be on a VOD in 2014.
Horror Hotel at ATL Web Fest
The 1st season of Horror Hotel will be screening this month at ATL Web Fest. Guests at the hotel include aliens, androids, ghosts, psychotic killers, gangsters and other interesting characters of society, inspired by Hitchcock and The Twilight Zone stories of the 50s and 60s. My role in the Invader segment is my 21st Actor credit on my IMDb profile. Woot!

State Bar of Georgia - TV PSA
Director Garrett DeHart of New Lexicon Productions tagged me for a public service announcement (30 sec TV spot) filmed in June 2013. I played a prosecuting attorney in the spot that encouraged legal professionals to seek help for their depression. This month the State Bar of Georgia, the client, put it up on YouTube.
Events
Blank Page Screenwriters Workshop
Writers, join us to listen and share insights on the stories; Actors, bring the stories to life. On Tuesday the 1st I'll be reading for a series version of Snuggles by Justin Craig - about a ventriloquist dummy assassin - inspired by the eponymous short film which has screened at several film festivals. There will also be a reading of "Dumping Amber" by Scott Eckley- A comedic short about an over-the-hill GPS with attitude. $5 donation requested to cover the venue. Red Door Playhouse in Roswell. 7:30PM
Oct 15th: pleased have the chance to read the lead character in "Fuzzy Logic," a sitcom pilot by Mitchell McLean. Logline: "To qualify for parole, a former lawyer must take a menial job at a popular children's show... where he discovers that things are not as cuddly as the public believes". In the notes after it was suggested it was more ironic if the guy was a vet, which made me think of my clients at Brown Bag Marketing. After that, I got a kick out of reading the role of a boy-toy in "Obfuscation," a dramatic feature by Byron Conrad Erwin. Logline: "A young gay man flirts with danger when he is coached by his boyfriend to start an affair with an older married man"...with Brent Brook and Doug Kalish reading for the others in the cheaters triangle that is sure to end darkly. The final 2 acts will be read next month.

ATL Web Fest
Producing online content in a web series is becoming a strategy for independent filmmakers to bypass traditional means to share their work. That's the subject of ATL Web Fest this month. I'm looking forward to some panels and networking events for building and growing a successful online series or show. Maybe get some new ideas, opening panel hosted by Ogilvy Mather on Friday, continuing at the Georgia Tech Research Institute on Sat & Sun.
