Mr. Lockjaw - Episode 2
Great turnout for the table read of Episode 2 at The Blank Page screenwriters event October 6th at Barrington Hall in Roswell. Several actors from the first episode of Mr Lockjaw were there to read new or their re-curring roles. And I loved the handful of two "person" scenes where I read for both the twitchy ventrilloquist and voice of his dummy. Hopefully this effort on the marketing package will pan out.

Walker Stalker Convention
A bit of promotion at the end of the month for Mr Lockjaw; producers Byron C. Erwin and Justin Craig got a vendor table at the 2015 Walker Stalker Convention. I spent the weekend helping push the show, hand out flyers, and sell DVDs.
Screenings and Distribution
Mr. Lockjaw - Pilot
This month 3 film festivals screened Mr Lockjaw and we got 3 wins! Congratulations to Byron Erwin for winning both BEST DIRECTING and BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY at the Underfunded Film Festival in Provo. The show also won BEST TV HORROR PILOT at the Haunted Horror Film Fest in New York. Very sweet.
The film is an official selection for the Atlanta Indie Film Festival, screening on the 14th at 7:30 PM, along with some other psychological thriller shorts. Sponsored by Pinch 'n' Ouch Theatre, the fest runs 17 nights in October and includes several of my friend's films, including: Margo and the Universe, Dream Writers, The Drunks, The Intruder, Friends Like Mine, The Grand Pince of Moscow, and episodes from Horror Hotel.
blackhats - Theatrical Release
October 23rd, the feature blackhats starts a week-long theatrical screening at the Aurora Cineplex in Roswell. There's a scene in it with me playing an intense, suicidal, programmer opposite lead Errol Sadler. The cyber crime story follows a fugitive recovery agent (Errol Sadler) and his co-worker (Doris Morgado) as they try to save her brother from a violent hacker group. My character is one of the casualties. Morgado picked up a Best Actress win for it last month at PVIFF. Tickets

Fun to see something I was in with official box office numbers and, #blackhats ranked #1 for revenue per screen (n.b., it's only on one screen currently!)

Horror Hotel - Series
Six episodes from Horror Hotel screened at the Atlanta Indie Film Festival where it WON Best Web series Cinematography. The Oct 22nd screening included 3 episodes from the season (Tilt, Guillotine, Houdini's Hand), and 3 the 2nd season (Aliens Stole My Boyfriend, Brain Robbers In Love) including the Coma Girl episode I was in with Neil Ramsey and Amber Seidel.

Clear Lakes 44 - Web Series
Got to work with filmmakers Troy Wagner and Noah Scammon, the guys behind Marble Hornets. Their latest mystery series is Clear Lakes 44. We shot epsiode #9, a noir two-person scene, at the end of the month.
