Night of the werefrog: there is a screening of Bad Blood at The Plaza Theatre after an impressively quick post production; this indy feature wrapped principal photography just 14 months ago. I've been in several short films that didn't finish post that quickly. Bonus: I found the final cut hugely entertaining; it's definitely got legs.

Official premiere, festivals, and distribution TBA. But, until then, the Star Wars release gives me an idea for the titles:

International WIN in Brazil this month as Mr. Lockjaw is selected for Best Editing at the Mostra Amazonas de Cinema (MAC) Horror Film Festival. Sunday Dec 6th. Wish I could be in Manaus to see it firsthand in the handsome Gebes Medeiros Theater.

The premiere of American Violence is December 7th at the Harmony Gold in L.A. The trilingual crime thriller won Best Picture at the 2013 Georgia Latino Film Fest (as Pulso del Indigo) and since then it got some new music and branding for distribution. I have a small role in it, as muscle for a Russian mobster, saying a couple lines I learned phonetically. VOD starting December 8th from Amazon and Google Play and from several others over the next 6 weeks.

All 6 episodes of the 2nd season of Horror Hotel screened at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta on December 2nd. I was in the Coma Girl episode with Neil Ramsey and Amber Seidel, which was directed by Ricky Hess and D.P. by the late Ryan Presley. In it, love goes weird when a macabre maintenance man, yours truly, falls in love with comatose girl at the convalescent home where he works ― much to the dismay of her adoring husband. Debbie Hess promoted this hard on Facebook and to good results: screening got moved to the main stage cinema to handle ticket demand.

Meanwhile, adding to the list of VOD channels, Amazon Video started streaming Season 1 this month.
