Film Production

The Ivy League - Feature Film

The Ivy League started filming this month in Atlanta. I have one scene in it, playing a Ben Stein-type character opposite the lead. It's a little bit of money but also a SAG project so the credit will count toward union eligibility.

Pre Production

I am workshopping three new long-form improv shows:

First, Writers Block is a show that tries to mirror the style and structure of a different author each month. We are hitting first the novels of Chuck Palahnuik -- author of Fight Club and Choke, among others.

A second show is an improvised movie, inspired by the work of the Improv Playhouse of San Francisco. We'll be doing Western genre first.

And for the third show, I just started rehearsing with a Ja CKPie team on improvised musicals. Very challenging.

Events

Relapse Grand Re-opening

We are busy re-opening the Relapse cabaret, ballroom, and bar this month; the work on bringing the building up to code was officially completed on October 20th. I've already got a new banner ordered for the front of the building and we're already using the cabaret for a haunted house through the end of the month. The bar will open as soon as the City and State to finish processing our paperwork.

Live Performance

I've got a dozen live performances lined up for October:

AT&T - United Way Benefit - Improv Show

I'll be part of improv show for a corporate fund raiser at AT&T for the United Way. With Steve Capps, Trey Duke, and Kristy Oliver, hosted by Brad Binkley. Wednesday, 10/06, at 12:30 PM

Momentary Performances - Street Theatre

I am part of one of "Flux" project street performances called Momentary Performances which will be Tuesdays at Emory University.
